3. Concern about participation not being church-wide and congregational lack of understanding of CoP purpose.

4. Sunday CM Worship Time Control

1. Discussed current situation and potential means to ensure that CM worship ends on time.

5. Deacon Nomination Update

1. Elder Tsai presented results of deacon nomination process (BoE approved final deacon candidate by e-mail) and lessons learned.
2. Exit interviews with outgoing deacons to be completed and list of ministry opportunities for deacons to be compiled.

6. Church Website Design Update

1. Elder Tsai reviewed status of CBCGB-website redesign.
2. Cross-congregation, cross-ministry team decided to complete process in-house; project in beta development mode and moving forward on schedule.
3. Elder Tsai presented sample mock-ups of website for review.

7. Additional Sunday Worship Update

1. Pastor Caleb reviewed status of additional Sunday worship; moving forward on schedule.

8. Church Building Expansion (“CBE”) Update

1. Elder Chu reviewed status of CBE project, presenting current design for both main facility and 151 Spring St. and numerical and financial future growth projections.
2. Discussed next steps and projected timeline for implementation, as well as means to improve communication (in general) to various constituent ministries.
3. Proposal to be presented to Church Council at next (December) meeting.

9. Annual Meeting Update

1. Reviewed agenda and slide deck for annual meeting and suggested revisions.

10. Stephen Tong Evangelistic Ministries International (“STEMI”) Meeting 2013

1. BoE has decided not to sponsor STEMI 2013,
2. but will endorse meeting, encourage congregation to attend
3. by supplanting the regular fall Chinese Ministry evangelistic meeting,
4. and donate financially (with an amount to be determined).

11. Bylaw Revision Review

1. Tabled additional discussion until special meeting scheduled for November 15, 2012, 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm.

4. 華語部主日崇拜時間的控制
