- Elder David gave an update on the marriage enrichment retreat. 5 seekers accepted Christ
- Elder Bryan shared about a potential new ministry opportunity
- Elder Yuguang will miss April’s BoD meeting
- Update on state of CBCGB (Pastor Caleb in absentee)
- Mandarin Gospel Meeting starts 3/18-20
- COC leadership going well
- Marriage Enrichment retreat went will with 5 new conversions
- Stephen Ministry recruits going well with 3 brothers and 6 sisters joining
- Pastor Caleb’s upcoming outside speaking schedule:
- UMass Amherst’s church retreat 3/11-13
- PCCO spring revival conference 4/1-3
- Portland CGC in May (may use vacation time)
- COCM Bible Camp in June
- Baton Rouge CCC Mission Conference 11/11~11/13
- English Pastor Search going well
- Youth Pastor Search team formed
- May need an additional Family Pastor to enhance better ministry integration and collaboration
- Pastors approved three seminarians for scholarship support
- Church Building Expansion Project
- Need to present design update to church council and provide a platform for enhanced communication
- CM has reached maximum capacity and needs a way to find more space
- CBC-MS registration is approved. NPO tax exemption status application is in progress
- Just celebrated 5th Anniversary, increasing both in number and morale.
- Board of Deacons Update (Deacon Lance Pan)
- For calendar year 2015, the rate of growth for the total amount of money has been decreasing, though the number of contributing units has been increasing
- The missions fund needs attention. Elder Yuguang will suggest the missions committee reevaluate their pledge-raising process
- Overall, our income compared to expenses is net positive and in good shape
- New signs for 151 and relocated thermostats
- Parking lot expansion will start
- Will look into replacing some HVAC units
- Key card access project will focus on convenience and put new readers on just a few doors. Soliciting bids now from vendors
- Phone system proposed to move to a new cloud-based system
- Will put in place a more powerful, new sanctuary projector
- Will enable general WIFI guest access for everyone
- Discussing with AT&T about a potential temporary cell tower on-site
- Church Vision Statement (Elder Bryan and Elder KC)
- EM leaders proposed updated vision statement wording: "To see every person become a disciple of Christ, across all cultures, from East to West, from Greater Boston to the world."
- Elder KC proposed new Chinese translation to match this English wording:

- Approved both English and Chinese versions to present to Church Council meeting

- Phase 1 Currently spent $1.19M total and have $0.27M left in the budget, which is more than enough to complete the project
- Phase 1 Part 1: Competed with $1.14M spend vs $1.2M budget
- Phase 1 Part 2: Original budget $0.4M
- Upper Parking: Estimate $100K; currently spent $55K
- Upper Driveway: Estimate $160K; currently spent $15K

- Discussed whether to combine Phase 2 and Phase 3 into one project or expand Phase 2 into a larger project. Will determine once the requirements document is ready for review

- Pastor Caleb Chang and Pastor Jennifer Lin will both be eligible for Sabbatical next year. Will need to review any proposed plans later this year at least 6 months prior to any Sabbatical leave

- 牧師們通過了三位神學院學生的學費資助

- 城區聚會地方已經擁擠，需要尋找另外聚會地方。
- 南區華人聖經教會註冊已通過，正在申請非贏利組織免稅資格。
- 南區剛剛慶祝五週年，增加了人數和鼓舞了士氣。
- 2015財政年度，儘管奉獻的數額一直增加，但奉獻增長速度有所下降。
- 需要關注宣教認獻基金。煜光長老建議宣教委員會重新評估增加認獻審核過程
