The HR Committee exists to serve in an adjunct or advisory capacity to the BoE on matters related to human resources (such as employment, benefits, and compensation) that affect members who are on the CBCGB payroll.
2.1 Size of Committee: the Committee shall consist of anywhere between three to five members. A Chairperson will be appointed from the Committee.
2.2 Composition: one member from the BoD, and anywhere between two to four from the congregations (preferably at least one from each congregation).
3.1 Qualification: Must be standing member of CBCGB, recommended and approved by Committee members with a simple majority; final appointment must be approved by the BoE.
3.2 Withdrawal: As members are required to meet and discuss most matters that are presented to the Committee, any member who is unable to participate regularly in such tasks should consider withdrawing his/her position.
4.1 Committee Members: Members serve on the Committee initially for a term of two-years, and members may be reappointed for additional two year terms and approved by BoE.
4.2 Chairperson: The Chairperson is nominated by any Committee members and accepted by a simple majority. The term is 1 year and the Chairperson may be reappointed for another year with a simple majority vote by Committee members and approved by BoE.
The Committee’s assignment is initiated in one the following ways:
5.1 The BoE directs the Committee to review, research, and provide recommendations on a specific HR matter.
5.2 As the Committee gains stronger understanding of the CBCGB HR
policies and practices and with the prior approval of the BoE, the
Committee may develop a specific proposal for BoE review.
5.3 The scope of assignments addressed by the Committee generally
includes matters in these areas:
- Employment practices
- Employment benefits
- Pay and compensation
- HR administration
- HR/Personnel Policy
- Relocation and House Hunting
- Compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Any others HR matters assigned by the BoE.

人力資源委員會的成立,是為長老團在處理事關本教會受薪人員的人力資源問題(如:聘僱、福利及加給等),而附設的一項諮詢事工。.
2.1 委員會委員:委員會委員約為三至五人,主席由委員中遴派。
2.2 組成:一名來自執事會,其他約二至四名來自會眾(最好是華語和英文部各一名)。
3.1 資格:必須是本教會會員,經委員會多數委員同意後而推薦,最後必須經由長老團認可。
3.2 離任:委員必須出席委員會會議,參與大部份的討論,任何委員若不能固定參與服事,應考慮離開他/她的職任。
4.1 委員會委員:委員會委員服事首任一期為兩年,得長老團認可後,可被指派連任一次,時間為兩年。
4.2 主席:主席由委員會委員提名,經多數人接受後產生,任期為一年。連任方式,可以由委員會委員投票通過,經長老團認可後續任一年。
委員會的事工內涵,來自以下幾種途徑:
5.1 長老團提交委員會考察、研究和建議有關人力資源的特定問題。
5.2 當委員會經多方瞭解本教會人力資源的政策和實施,並事先經由長老團認可,可研擬出特定方案,供長老團參核。
5.3 交付委員會的事工任務,大致涵蓋以下幾項:
- 聘僱執行
- 工作福利
- 薪水和加給
- 人力資源行政管理
- 人力資源/人事規章
- 搬遷及找房子
- 遵守州政府和聯邦政府的規定
- 長老團所指派任何有關人力資源的問題
