Memorial Day Youth and Family Outing

 

The Senior High student leaders have busily been planning for this Monday's joint outing and would like to invite you (students and families) to join us for a beach day at Crane Beach in Ipswich!  

 

Here's the current schedule:

 

8:00am - arrive at church

8:30-9:00am - anticipated departure time

10:00am - arrive at beach

10:00am-3:00pm - play on the sand, bbq lunch

3:00pm - leave beach

4:00-5:00pm - estimated arrival at church depending on traffic

 

We'll be bussing all the students to the beach in our church vans, but we have limited space.  Currently, we have space for around 30 jr high and 30 senior high and we'll adjust as the numbers come in.  If your family would like to join and could give rides, please let us know so we can increase this number!  We unfortunately cannot fit families into the vans, only students.  :)  IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON COMING AND NEED A RIDE, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW!  Rides will be on first come first serve basis, so please email me!  Also, if you tell me you need a ride and then don't end up needing one or end up not going, please let me know ASAP so another person can take your spot.  :)  

 

The students have assigned food and other items for each of the grades to bring.  Jr highers have been assigned to cups, forks, spoons, plates, napkins, condiments, and fruit/salad.  When you reply about coming, please let me know what you plan to bring so that we can adjust accordingly.

 

We're also asking that everyone bring $10 to help cover the cost of large food items as well as parking.  We'll be BBQing at the beach! :)  

 

Please remember that this is a church event and to dress appropriately.  This means no bikinis and no speedos.  If you don't have a one-piece, please bring an appropriate non-spaghetti strap tank top to wear over your swimsuit or wear a shirt.  :)  Also, the weather this Sunday looks to be a high of 67, so please bring warm clothes if you get cold easily, as it's colder on the beach.
