Ron & Shelby Adhikari
Ron is a 3rd generation Christian from India, who studied in Seoul (ThM) and at Fuller, CA (DMin), and joined IVCF from 1968-1974 in charge of NE India. Ron grew up learning 5 languages and is now learning his 10th (survival Mandarin). Shelby is from Changhua,Taiwan and was called to full-time ministry during her doctorate studies at Boston College. Ron and Shelby met while studying in Singapore and got married at CBCGB on Dec 25, 1981! They were commissioned in 1980, and ordained in 1995 at CBCGB. They have two grown up kids, Nathan and Victoria. Ron and Shelby have been ministering in Taiwan since 1995 in Church planting and minsitering to foreign laborers and spouses so that Taiwanese Churches will reach out to the many nationalities that have come to Taiwan.
Special Guest Speaker
For over thirty years our guest speaker worked with her late husband, to improve the lives of people in Central Asia through their work at a hospital and their ministry elsewhere in the country. She also served as an English teacher and in leadership roles for the expatriate community in the country. Together with her husband, they raised their children in Central Asia, persevered through several regime changes, and lived in a difficult place out of love for God and His people. Her journey with God has been extraordinary, to be sure, but most importantly, it has been an ordinary Christian’s response to the world’s need and God’s call to serve.
