Role:

The Director of Office Administration is responsible for the operational support of CBCGB ministries and services. This role has hands-on responsibilities towards those goals, and additionally manages office staff, and coordinates with the church leadership, Pastors, staff, and other ministry area leaders. This role involves communication both within and outside the church, such as with external contractors. This role oversees the church premises, ensuring that they are available, well maintained, and scheduled for all who use the facilities.

Ultimately, the Director of Office Administrator supports and enables the church leadership, staff, and ministries of CBCGB to live out CBCGB’s vision and God’s mission.

Responsibilities:

●      Work with church staff including BoD Secretary to maintain church database and contact information for BoE, BoD, ministry leaderships and current church membership.

●      Supervise all CBCGB office administrative staff for their responsibilities, including: providing support for duties, guiding career and spiritual growth, conducting performance reviews.

●      Work with church staff to manage church facility scheduling, including: processing facility use requests, maintaining accurate and up-to-date facilities calendar, handling the distribution of keys, ensuring overall cleanliness of church facilities.

●      Work with church staff to create, edit, and manage church Sunday bulletins and   other special events communication materials.

●      Work with church staff to maintain operations efficiency, including: managing office supplies, scheduling routine inspections and repairs of office equipment.

●      Work with church staff and outside contractors on facilities projects, including but not limited to: church cleaning, repair/maintenance, lawn service, snow removal. 

●      Coordinate communication and relationships between members of CBCGB office administrative staff, church leadership and other ministry leaders.

●      Coordinate efforts among CBCGB office administrative staff for cross-functional initiatives including: inter-congregation, inter-ministry, church-wide.

●      Provide assistance to CM and CB office administrative staff as needed.

●      Assist the Senior Pastor for administrative duties (e.g. OCR for pastoral staff).

●      Assist the BoE for admin-related needs.

 

Reporting Structure:

 

●      The Director of Office Administration will report directly to the CBCGB Senior Pastor.

●      Office administrative staff -- including full-time and part-time -- will report to the Director of Office Administration.

●      Office administrative staff will continue to work closely with BoE, pastoral staff, and BoD for their ministries.

 

Qualifications:

 

●      Born-again Christian with active spiritual faith and walk, including active involvement in a CBCGB fellowship and CBCGB ministries.

●      Agree with CBCGB’s Statement of Faith.

●      Agree with CBCGB’s mission and vision.

●      BA or BS degree or equivalent.

●      Proficiency, both verbal and written, in Chinese and English.

●      Experience with, or proven aptitude for, personnel management.

●      Organization skills and attention to detail.

●      Proficiency in Office products such as PowerPoint, Words, Excel.

●      Experience working in diverse groups in a team-oriented setting.

●      Experience working within a church or similar non-profit organization.

●      Experience with task management including: managing schedules, tasks, and deadlines.

 

Job Type: Full –time, 40 hours per week, exempt

Salary: Salary commensurate with experience

Experience: 10 years minimum of office administration experience

Education: Bachelor degree (required)

Location: CBCGB Lexington Office
